'Warrior' (1860)
Scale 1:96. A plan showing the inboard profile of the broadside ironclad 'Warrior' (1860).
The details shown on the drawing reflect at least three periods of alteration. As originally drafted, the plan shows the ship on completion of her late 1867 refit. The 1871 alterations are in violet ink, and mainly relate to the after bridge. The alterations of 1875 are in green ink, and show much more extensive changes including further modification of the after bridge and the building of a poop deck.
Signed by Henry Cradock [Master Shipwright, Portsmouth Dockyard from 26 April 1862] - dated 16 October 1867.
Signed by Thomas C. Pullen [Master Attendant, Staff Captain, Devonport Dockyard from 14 October 1867] - dated 8 January 1871 at Keyham Yard.
Signed by William B. Robinson [Master Shipwright and Engineer, Portsmouth Dockyard from 19 January 1869] - dated 15 July 1875.
