'Warrior' (1860)

Scale 1:96. A heavily annotated plan showing the main deck of the broadside ironclad 'Warrior' (1860).

The details shown on the drawing reflect at least three periods of alteration. As originally drafted, the plan shows the ship on completion of her late 1867 refit. The 1871 alterations are in red ink, and mainly relate to the re-arming of the ship with 7-inch 6.5 ton and 8-inch 9 ton guns. The alterations of 1875 are in green ink, and show changes to officers' accommodation, the galley, petty officers' mess and ammunition stowage on this deck.
