'Warrior' (1860)

Scale 1:96 and 1:48 for the wash stand drawings. A plan showing the upper deck of the broadside ironclad 'Warrior' (1860). The plan includes a partial inboard elevation illustrating the arrangement of the portside sail bin, shell racks, bag racks and coal chutes between frames 52 and 74 (this area is roughly amidships and includes the second funnel), and an elevation view of wash stands in the Gun Room.

The details shown on the drawing reflect at least three periods of alteration. As originally drafted, the plan shows the ship on completion of her late 1867 refit. The 1871 alterations are in violet ink, and mainly relate to the addition of new bag racks and storage for Palliser shells. The alterations of 1875 are in green ink, and show alterations made to ammunition stowage and junior officers' accommodation.
