A 12x10 negative. St Thomas's Almshouses at the corner of King Street and Windmill Street at Gravesend. A photograph taken from the pavement across the road shortly before demolition of the building. On the walls and are posters advertising the sale of the freehold property by Messrs Glover and Homewood on Wednesday 29 April 1898. In the left background number 25 King Street is the clothing shop of J A Stirton. Negative number G2341 is of the same building at a slightly later date.
