'Warrior' (1860)
Scale 1:24. A plan showing the midships half-section of the broadside ironclad 'Warrior' (1860). The plan includes an horizontal section [plan view] of the side at the Portsill illustrating the composition of the ship's side at the level of the gunports. The plan is entitled 'Midship Section of the Iron Cased Frigate Warrior'.
Two 'noted and returned' stamps are on the plan, both from the Constructive Department, Portsmouth Yard. The first is dated 23 May 1927 and the other 7 December of that year.
Plans NPO0902 and NPO0904 are very similar to this plan and are probably copies.
