Warner when second in command of the light cruiser HMS Colombo (1918) during her South American and West Indies tour. The album covers the following themes and subjects:

Topographical locations: Antigua, Nassau, St. Lucia, Dominica, Panama Canal, Peru, Valparaiso, Rio de Janiero, Pategonia/Magellan Straits, Falklands, Esquimalt.

Activities: Crossing the line, Ships mascot (elephant) and Bill the parrot smoking a pipe, excersions in land to visit the Inca sites, the funeral of a Chilian Admiral (not named), logging at Esquimalt, deck activities.

The album includes a group photograph with Captain Dobson VC.
