A cloth bound album, containing fifteen photographic prints of racing yachts from around 1900, one of HRH The Prince of Wales on ‘Britannia’ (1893) and a pencil sketch of a small Dutch trading craft, all are mounted on card. On the cover is the title 'The Yachstman Album' in gold leaf.
Loose forepage “HRH The Prince of Wales, Commodore of the Royal Yacht Squadron, ‘Britannia’ at Cannes”. He is seated on deck, near the mast with the sail furled.
1. “’Valkyrie’ and ‘Britannia’” (1893 (if Valkyrie II) and 1893). The two yachts appear to be racing. Starboard beam.
2. “’Vigilant’ (1886) crossing the winning line, private match, August 4, 1894”. The printing on the photo reads “'Vigilant’ winning the cup, Cowes, Aug.3”. Gunwales under, starboard bow.
3. “’Hester’ (Mr J Gretton, Jun.) from a photo by Wm. Kirk & Sons, Cowes”. All sails are set including the flying jib but the yacht is barely moving. 3 crew are posing by the mast. Port bow.
4. Pencil sketch of a small Dutch trading craft, port quarter, with another sailing craft in the middle distance. A floating object in the foreground carries the initials AHL.

10. “’Stephanie’ ‘L’Esperance’” . The two yachts are close but not quite alongside. Port beam. A ‘L’Esperance’ cutter was built at Burnham on Crouch in 1902.
11. “’Dragon’” port quarter, sailing well. 8 people on deck.
12. “’Ptarmigan’” port beam, sailing well.
13. “’Capella’” port bow. A smaller yacht, cutter rigged. 3 people in the cockpit and one on deck.
14. “’Delanagh’” Another smaller vessel, Bermuda rigged. Port ahead of beam.
15. “’Kismet’ and ‘Red Rover’”. Two smaller Bermuda rigged vessels, nearly alongside, starboard beam.
16. “’Ragamuffin’”. A small Bermuda rigged boat, port beam. 2 crew.
17. “’Molly’, ‘Stork’, ‘Hoopoo’ , ‘Mynah’”. Four small Bermuda rigged yachts, sailing well almost alongside, port quarter.
