A view of numerous sailing trawlers in the outer harbour (possibly in the trawl basin). These include 'Ivy' (1898) [LT160], 'Qui Vive' (1896) [LT702], 'Diamond Cross' (1904) [R111], 'Waverley' (1906), 'Mizpah' (1880) [LT214], and 'Children's Friend' (1900) [LT174]. In the background can be seen the gable end of the New Fishermen's Shelter building.
