A view of the quay at Rowhedge during an unidentified festival, taken from the Wivenhoe side of the River Colne.
A view of the quay at Rowhedge during the same unidentified festival as depicted in P27524, taken from the Wivenhoe side of the River Colne. The Albion public house can be seen in the beckground behind the Colchester registered trawler dressed overall. The quay is crowded with people, with numerous sailing and rowing dinghies alongside. In the middle distance is a cutter-rigged yacht with all sails set, including a pole to hold out the jib, as she sails before the light winds up river.
