A bound, green cloth covered album, with gold leaf embossed and numbered '44' on the spine. The spine is worn and loose.The album contains 26 albumen prints, showing a series of views on the Thames.
Vessels featured include: steamer's Malvina (1879), Virgo (1870), Paris (1873), Tay (1875) paddle steamer Albert Edward (1865), Princess Mary (1878), tug Ich Dien (1877), paddle tug Atlas (1854), and spiritsail barge Daring (1877). All are glued in one to a page and 2 loose. Captioned in ink.
All have been copied on microfilm, done on longer format negative..
