Dirk scabbard
. The black leather scabbard has two gilt lockets the chape is missing. Both lockets have rings and there is a frog button on the top locket. The reverse of the top locket is engraved with the words 'ARCHER DUBLIN', which is contained within an oval around an Irish harp. The engraving refers to William Henry Archer who as a sword cutler in Dublin from 1786-1828 and was Lord Mayor of Dublin in 1812.
