Dirk scabbard
The solid gilt brass scabbard is plain on the reverse and heavily embossed on the obverse. Two rings are fitted very close together at the back near the top of the scabbard. From throat to bottom at the tip, the decoration consists of a lion's mask, the arms of Denmark superimposed on a military trophy consisting of swords, spears and colours, a foul anchor, rococo foliage and scrolls and an acanthus spray motif.
