Scabbard
Scabbard for presentation sword. Owned by Sir Samuel Hood (1762-1814). The black leather scabbard has two gilt lockets and chape richly embossed with naval trophies. There are rings in the form of dolphins on the top and mid lockets. The scabbard is inscribed with 'Horne & Ash / St James's Strt / London'.
