Scabbard
Scabbard for sword-stick. Owned by Captain A.J. Enstone, Royal Naval Air Service (active 1914-1918). The cane scabbard has a brass ferrule and tapers slightly. There is a square section hole cut in the centre of it to fit a blade cane and there are slots into base of hilt to provide snug fit.
