Scabbard

Scabbard for stirrup hilted dress sword, which was presented to the National Maritime Museum by the Museum of the Cheshire Regiment. The black leather scabbard has a gilt locket with a ring and chape. The obverse of the locket is engraved with a naval trophy and foliage. The chape is engraved with foliage. The scabbard is in two pieces.
