Album relating to the service of Alfred G. Linggard

A photograph album with black boards, gold blocking, the binding broken, and the leaves loose. There are 69 photographs pasted to the leaves, and also 11 loose photographs. Inscribed on the fly-leaf is "Alfred G. Linggard 1899 Guelph".
The album is of Linggard's sevice on ships of Union-Castle Mail Steamship Company Ltd. (registered 8 March 1900). The following vessels are included: Scot (1891) in 1899, Guelph (1894) in 1901, Kildonian Castle (1899) in 1906.
