A bound photograph album with green board covers, a black spine and tie fastenings. Inside the front cover is written "?Captain Edgell's album". There are 59 photographs pasted in, while 11 other photographs are mounted on loose sheets.
The album includes the following locations: Port Said, Suez, Melbourne with architectural views, Portsmouth, circa 1880; Norfolk Broads; Whitby.
Also included are the officers of HMS Tribune (1853) and HMS Retribution (1844).
