A photograph album with brown board covers with gold-blocked decoration. There are 27 photographs, the majority of which have been pasted in, with many of the photographs being captioned in the negative 'STRETTON' (with number). There is also an engraving (possibly of Colonel Pocock Hordwick).
The album has the following themes:
Calcutta 1870s-1880s - public buildings and also ecclesiastical architecture
Lady Egidia (ship 1860) in 1875
