A seven-dog sledge team on the ice with unidentified crew member
A seven-dog sledge team resting on the ice, with an unidentified crew member standing beside the upturned sledge. This is believed to be Hurley's team of dogs, which included Shakespeare (leader), Bob, Rugby, Rufus, Sailor, Hackenschmidt, Noel, Jerry and Martin. Hurley was known to take Leonard Hussey or Lionel Greenstreet (Chief Officer) with him on his sledging expeditions.
