A photograph album with leather covered board covers, both of which are off. The album was produced for publicity purposes and contains 29 black and white 368mm x 266mm photographs mounted one to a leaf. The upper cover is decorated with a gilt title: "Orient Royal Mail lIne". There are several pages of text describing the service and also advertisements on the verso of each leaf.
The album includes the following vessels: Ophir (1891); Oruba (1889); Orontes (1902); Ormuz (1886); Omrah (1899); Ortona (1899); Sir Richard Grenville (1891) including ship portraits, desck scenes and interiors.
