A photograph album with leather covered board covers, both of which are off. The album was produced for publicity purposes and contains 44 black and white 368mm x 266mm photographs mounted one to a leaf. The upper cover is decorated with the P&O crest. There are several pages of text describing the service and also advertisements on the verso of each leaf.
The album includes Sir Thomas Sutherland, as well as ship portraits, deck scenes and interiors, and also lthe following vessels: Victoria (1887), Oceana (1888), Moldavia (1903), Mongolia (1903), China (1896), Arabia (1898), Macedonia (1904), Persia (1900), Vectis (1881), Syria (1901), Marmora (1903), Egypt (1897), India (1896), Isis (1898).
