A photograph album with leather covered board covers, both of which are off. The album was produced for publicity purposes and contains 47 black and white 368mm x 266mm photographs mounted one to a leaf. The upper cover is decorated with the P&O crest. There are several pages of text describing the service and also advertisements on the verso of each leaf.
