Album relating to the career of Captain E W E Fellowes (3rd Baron Ailwyn), 1904-1909.
This is a green cloth covered album containing 182 photographs glued in. One page is loose. This album contains photographs relating to Captain Fellowes career while serving as a midshipman on board HMS Caesar (1896) and HMS Drake (1901) between 1904 and 1909. Topographical views include Scotland, Gibraltar, Greece and Malta. Ships include HMS Furious (1896), HMS Jupiter (1895) and HMS London (1899). There are group photographs of the officers and crew of both HMS Caesar and Drake as well as photographs of the King and Queen of Spain, Prince Louis of Battenburg (1854), Prince Maurice of Battenberg (1891-1914) and Prince Alexander of Battenberg (1886-1960) and Admiral Lord Charles Beresford.
