This is a brown card, lace held album, with 27 pages, and 77 photographs, with 41 loose photographs in the pocket on the inside of the back cover.
The album includes the funerals of sailors from HMS Tern killed by Chinese bandits, and also a press cutting relating to HMS Tern being fired upon by Chinese bandits. Included in the album are the following vessels: HMS Tern (1927) including interiors and crew portraits, HMS Courageous (1916), HMS Arrow (1929), HMS Dragon (1917), USS Guam (1927), Kiang King (date unknown).
Also included in the album are the following locations: China (topographical), Hong Kong, Shanghai, Yangste River, Chungking.
