A blue bound, loose leaf album of 80 pages and 108 photographs related to the construction, launch and sale of luxury yachts by the Fairmile Construction Company between 1962 and 1972.
The company, based in Berwick-upon- Tweed, produced nine yachts during this time using designs drafted at the company's headquarters in Cobham, Surrey.
The following yachts are depicted: Tanit (1962), Albacora (1963), Babette II (1965), Tavit (1966), Lanesra (1968), Thelma M III (1972), and Golden Hart (1963). Also shown is the demonstration vessel, Elettra III (1962) sold to the Marconi Company.
