Model scaffolding case
Original glass case with black painted wooden frame and brass fittings for a wooden model of the scaffolding used to erect Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square in 1843. It was transferred to the National Maritime Museum from the Royal Naval Museum, Greenwich, in 1936, and has its Royal Naval Museum metal label.
