A bound photograph album with 40 leaves and 38 photographs (355mm x 254mm) dry mounted. There is a gilt title on the front cover: "HMS HERCULES. Palmers Shipbuilding & Iron Co. Ltd. 1910-1911". Some of the photographs have been dated, but not captioned.
This album is a record of construction at Palmers Co. Ltd., Newcastle, 31st August 1909-June 1911, and also includes turbine machinery under construction. The photographs were by W. Parry & Son, South Shields.
