Equipment model; Anchor model; Killick

Scale: Unknown. A model of a killick from Ostyaks of the Yenesei which is made of four individually grown wooden crooks and a large almost square and flat stone. The four crooks are lashed together at the top just above the stone and below the stone with two on either side. The stone itself is flat and square on three sides and tapers out towards the bottom of the anchor in section. The two angled crooks on either side act as grapnels for the killick to take ground.
