Equipment model; Anchor model; Half killick
Scale: Unknown. A model of a half killick from China. The shank consists of a tall piece of wood square in section and tapers inward towards the middle. At the base of the shank at forty-five degrees is a wooden arm finishing in a point and held in place by two rope lashings reinforcing a wooden peg. Just above the join of the arm to the shank is a single bamboo rod passing through the shank together with two either side, all of which are lashed together by rattan and form a flat rectangular shaped stock. At the top of the shank is a small hole through which a rattan loop passes to attach a cable to.
