Scale: Unknown. A model of a half killick from Japan. The shank and arm are constructed from a single grown wooden bough roughly rectangular in section and tapering out towards the crown. The arm has a flat upper face and tapers to a point at the end. About half way up the shank are two wooden bamboo rods which pass through on which are lashed two small circular stones forming a counter balance stock. The top of the shank has been carved to finish to a point and has been drilled for attaching a rope cable.
