Equipment model; Anchor model; Killick

Scale: Unknown. A model of a killick from Brazil as used by the coastal fishing Jangadas. The anchor consists of two flat pieces of wood tapering to a point at their ends to form a flat cross shape. There is a conical-shaped stone with a flat bottom which has been artificially shaped on top of the wooden cross which is held in position by four wooden sticks coming up through the wooden cross. The sticks are tied with twine to form a neck.
