Scale: Unknown. A model of a killick from China. The shank consists of a tall piece of wood square in section which tapers out to a rectangular section at the crown. On either side are two upwardly curved arms complete with forked ends made from iron and are attached by a single wooden peg at their lower ends together with a series of rope lashings further up. Immediately above the rope lashings are three wooden rods one of which passes through the shank and the other two either side of it, all of which form a flat type of stock held together by individual rope lashings.The top of the shank tapers out slightly finishing in a square end with a black metal band, below which a small hole has been drilled to take a rope eye for attaching the cable.
