Equipment model; Anchor model; Killick

Scale: Unknown. A model of a killick from Lagos, Southern Nigeria consisting of two thick crescent shaped arms made of wood tapering towards their ends. They are notched one on top of the other at right angles to form a cross. The four rods are then dowled into these arms, protruding underneath and are tied together at the top to enclose a roughly rounded rectangular stone. They form a cage around the stone together with fibre running between the rods for further security.
