Equipment model; Anchor model; Half killick

Scale: Unknown. A model of a half killick from the Federated Malay States. The shank consists of a straight wooden timber, rectangular in section through which is pegged a curved wooden arm tapering to a point and held to the shank by a wooden peg. A rattan lashing supports the arm to the shank. There is a small rounded light grey stone secured to the top of the shank by a rattan lashing, on the opposite side to the wooden arm. The top of the shank is rounded, below which is lashed a large rattan eye for securing the cable.
