Equipment model; Anchor model; Half killick

Scale: Unknown. A model of a half killick from Le Couquet, Finistere consisting of a flat rectangular arm, angling upwards towards the points which are rectangular in section. There are two wooden rods dowled through the arm enclosing a roughly oval-shaped, chalky white stone which is set at a right angle to the arms. The two rods are then lashed together halfway up the shank just above the stone and at the top of the shank. They also secure the rope warp to the shank with an eye at the top. The other end of the rope cable is passed round the stone and looped through itself.
