Equipment model; Anchor model; Killick

Scale: Unknown. A model of a killick from Alsen Island, Slesing, Denmark. The killick consists of two flat parallel pieces of wood which finish in a rectangular section, laid on top of each other to form a flat cross. There is an oval-shaped stone, dark grey in colour, on top of the wooden cross which is held in position by four pieces of rope coming up through the wooden cross with large knots at the base and lashed together at the top of the stone to form a neck.
