Equipment model; Anchor model; Half killick

Scale: Unknown. A model of a half killick from Roscarbery, Co. Cork, made from a rectangular piece of wood, with a square bottom which tapers towards the top where it has been drilled with a hole for attaching the cable. Just below this is a flat rectangular stone which is notched into the shank and held in position by a curved wooden cleat held together by two wooden pins. At the base of the shank there is a metal rod circular in section passing through and curving upwards to form a pair of arms.
