Equipment model; Anchor model; Half killick
Scale: Unknown. A model of a half killick from Inishmore, Aran Islands, Galway Bay consisting of two flat rectangular wooden boards lashed together at the top with a rope binding. The boards form an A shape inside which a flat rectangular block of stone is secured and held in place by a single elongated wooden peg, forming a pair of arms. At the bottom of the killick is a section of rope to which the cable can be attached to.
