Equipment model; Anchor model; Half killick
Scale: Unknown. A model of a half killick from Tromso, Norway consisting of a single slightly curved arm which tapers towards its ends. There is a cut timber shank which is rectangular in section at the top end and tapers outwards at the bottom end where it is cut out forming a fork. A small rectangular stone passing through the stock at right angles to the base. The top end of the shank has been drilled and is finished with a rope lashing and an eye to which the cable can be attached.
