Equipment model; Anchor model; Killick

Scale: Unknown. A model of a killick from Brazil as used by the coastal fishing Jangadas. The anchor consists of two flat pieces of wood tapering to a point at their ends, which have been notched to form a flat cross shape. There are two stones, one large round one with a smaller oval rounded one sitting above it. These are held in place by four wooden sticks coming up through the wooden cross. The sticks are tied with twine to form a neck at the top.
