Single sheet. Hand coloured engraving. Scale: [circa 1:2,000,000]. Mercator projection, with borders graduated for latitude and for longitude from the meridians of Paris, London, the Lizard, Teneriffe and Ferro Island. Rhumb lines. The scales are in French and English marine leagues. Soundings are shown on the Atlantic coast between Cap St Vincent and Saphie (Safi). Contains a florid title cartouche.

The 1754 edition of this chart was included in the atlas Hydrographie Francoise issued by the Departement de la Marine.
