The scale is in Italian miles, French, Spanish and Communi di Mare leagues. The chart contains an inset bird's-eye view of the town of Angra, capital of the Azores, on a cartouche of a drape held above the sea. The title cartouche is decorated with coral, shells and strings of pearls.
