Mr.S.Wyatt's plan. The proposed London docks compared with those proposed at the Isle of Dogs
Two sheets joined, mounted on a modern backing sheet. Hand coloured engraving. Scale [circa 1:18,000 (bar)]. The proposed docks in the Isle of Dogs are coloured green. Tables compare the mooring capacities of the two schemes.
This map was drawn to show that the proposed docks at Wapping would require a new access canal and would be much smaller than those of an alternative scheme proposed for the Isle of Dogs. After much debate, both proposals went ahead.
