Single sheet. Hand coloured engraving. Scale [circa 1:1,800,000]. The border of this chart of Britain and Ireland is graduated for latitude and longitude from the meridian of Paris. The chart has rhumb lines, magnetic variation and tidal numerals are marked. Shetland is shown in an inset. The title cartouche is decorated with a flag, anchor, flowers and foliage.
