The chart contains two coastal profiles. It is decorated with three ships and one sea creatures and the cartouche is decorated with parrots.

A chart from Anthony Ashley's English edition of 'The Mariners Mirrour'. Lord Howard of Effingham ordered Waghenaer's sea atlas 'De Spieghel der Zeevaerdt' to be translated. It was so popular that 'waggoner' became the English term for a book of charts.
