This is the accepted 'Cruiser A' design of the 1926 Cruiser Programme. The drawing bears the signature of Sir William Berry [Director of Naval Construction 1924-1930]. The signature of the managing Director of the Fairfield Shipbuilding Company is printed on the drawing. An Admiralty Minute Stamp, dated 28 October 1926, is present on the plan.
