Dorsetshire (1929)

Scale 1:96. Plan shows the sections, as fitted of the County class (also known as the Norfolk subclass) heavy cruiser Dorsetshire (1929). The drawing shows the sections situated at Frames 154, 184 , 212, 236, 250, 268 and 276 looking aft. The plan also shows sections situated at Frames 14, 25, 47, 61, 92, 118 and 130 looking forward. The plan has been updated to reflect alterations made to the ship between 1930 and 1935. Alterations made at Devonport Dockyard in burnt sienna ink, dated April 1935 are visible on the drawing. A Portsmouth Dockyard Office Stamp dated 2 October 1930 and Devonport Dockyard Office stamp are printed on the drawing. A Hong Kong Dockyard Chief Constructor's stamp, dated 3 September 1935 is also present on the plan. The plan is Sheet Number 8 of 8. The maker's signature and initials are printed in the bottom left corner of the plan.
