Album relating to the naval service of Captain Scott W. A. H. Gray (b1855-d1921)

A photograph album rebound in new boards, with individual leaves bound with patent (screw) fastening. There are 30 leaves and 102 prints of various sizes (some panoramas) pasted down and captioned.
This album is dated 1866-71 and includes HMS Bristol (1861) and HMS Ocean (1863) as well as the following locations: California, Panama, Barcelona, Lisbon, St Helena, Cape Town, Mauritius, Yokohama, Nagasaki, Funchal, Freetown, Galle, Amoy.

The album includes photographs of Napoleon's tomb (images 51 and 58, and a distant view of Longwood House (image 56) on St Helena
