This is a grey cloth covered album, gilt stamped "Photographs" with decorative device on the cover, and titled "Salvage" in manuscript on the cover and as above on the spine. The album contains 96 window mounted prints (measuring 133mm x 82mm).
There are mainly views of wrecks rather than salvage operations, and the majority of the West Country wreck photos are by Gibson.
