This is a publicity album showing the construction and fitting of the active rudder manufactured by Pleuger & Co. and the use of Pleuger underwater pumps in raising a World War II merchant ship and a floating dock circa. 1956.
The album includes the following vessels: Eider (1942), Saxnot (1944), GM Daneker (1955), Pleugerpumpe 2 (1951), Falkenstein (1953), Augustin le Borgne (1938), Borkumriff (1956), Irmgard Pleuger (1952), Paapsand (1955), Ocean Layer (1948).
